A majority of U.S. crypto users made their first-ever crypto investment just in the past year.

The CEO of digital fund FV Bank says apps like PayPal and Cash App are making it easier for newbies to invest in crypto.

Besides finance, industries like art, music, and gaming are also getting involved.

The president of Cion Digital says, if crypto prices start dropping significantly, which often happens in the volatile market, that might speed up the adoption even more.

But the survey also shows 40 percent felt crypto is too risky to invest in, and another 30 percent are concerned about the lack of regulations.
