April 25, 1999, a ‘Peaceful Appeal’ by Falun Gong Practitioners Contrary to CCP Narrative: Falun Dafa Information Center

April 25 marked the 25th anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners’ appeal to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to exercise their faith freely. Levi Browde, executive director of the Falun Dafa Information Center, says the event was a “peaceful appeal,” not a protest or occupation of the government complex as the CCP alleges.
