The new comedy “Dog Days” portrays the lives of multiple dogs and how they bring their owners together in the city of Los Angeles.
The movie connects four dogs and twelve people in one hilarious story, and it’s sure to bring joy to any pet-loving family.
Director Ken Marino said he set out to give the audience an enjoyable 112 minutes of heartfelt and hilarious dog moments.

But Marino said the main theme of the film is how people are inspired to become better, and how that inspiration can even come from a lowly pet.
He also mentioned that it was not an easy task to say no to some of the adorable pups during their auditions.
The dog-loving cast includes Eva Longoria, Vanessa Hudgens, Finn Wolfhard, Nina Dobrev, Adam Pally and more.
The film was written by Elissa Matsueda and Erica Oyama. It’s rated as PG and will be presented in theaters on Aug. 8 by LD Entertainment.
