Bonnie Chapman, daughter of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star Beth Chapman, took to Twitter to mourn the passing of her mother.

“Love you forever mom. You’ve got a halo now,” she wrote on Twitter, shortly after the news of her mother’s passing.

On the morning of June 26, Beth Chapman’s husband, Duane “Dog” Chapman, shared on Twitter: “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Bonnie Chapman wrote a touching post on Twitter in memory of her mother.

“I’ll never forget you, mama. You were such a strong woman, and you taught me to always be strong. You were strong for everyone, and you taught me it’s okay to let go.”

She also shared a photo of her parents, smiling, and captioned the post: “So thankful I got your beautiful smile.”

In another post, she expressed shock at her mother’s sudden passing.

“I’d never thought I’d lose my mom at 20,” she wrote. “I told her I thought she had a couple years left, but in her eyes she disagreed.”

The night before, Bonnie Chapman shared a photo of her holding her mother’s hand in the hospital.

“Love you,” she captioned the post, adding a heart emoji.

Over the weekend, Beth Chapman was placed into a medically-induced coma amidst battling lung cancer.

She was first diagnosed with cancer in 2017.

Beth Chapman and her husband starred in the reality series “Dog the Bounty Hunter” for eight seasons until 2012. They were currently filming a new reality series with WGN America called “Dog’s Most Wanted,” which is the first unscripted series on WGN in five years.

Following the news of Beth Chapman’s passing, WGN America released a statement.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic news that @MrsdogC lost her battle with cancer today. She was an exceptional woman, all of us at #WGNAmerica will miss her tremendously,” WGN America wrote on Twitter. “Our thoughts and prayers are with @DogBountyHunter, her family, loved ones and millions of fans.”

The couple previously spoke about faith.

On Mother’s Day, Beth Chapman told People magazine that her cancer diagnosis has been “the ultimate test of faith.”

“I don’t go to God and go, ‘Why did I get cancer?'” she said. “He’ll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why—because this is the ultimate test of faith. It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known.”

Meanwhile, Duane told People magazine about their marriage, “When we made a pledge many years ago, I said I’d love her in sickness and in health until death do us part,” he said.

“And that truth has really, really come alive in my mind. And I have to stand on that: I gave her an oath that I would love her forever. And thank God it’s not till death do us part at this point,” he said at the time.
