The Israeli parliament on Monday passed a new law, allowing the government to temporarily shut down Al Jazeera. Alex Traiman, CEO and Jerusalem bureau chief of Jewish News Syndicate, says Israelis see Al Jazeera as a mouthpiece of Hamas, and believe they have the authority to shutter the network in Israel.
