Kanye West is reportedly beginning work on a new album, at his new condominium, and has brought a lot of big names in music with him.
West is in Miami with Lil Wayne, Migos, Timbaland, and 2 Chainz, along with newcomers Tee Grizzley and YNW Melly, TMZ revealed.
West was extremely productive in 2018, and completed five albums last year. He released his eighth solo album, “Ye,” and released a collaboration album with Kid Cudi titled “Kids See Ghosts.” He also produced Pusha T’s third album, “Daytona.” West, as well, produced Nas’s 11th album. And he produced singer Teyana Taylor’s “K.T.S.E.” album, according to Highsnobiety.
TMZ did not indicate if West is now working on his rumored “Yandhi” project, although media like The Source are assuming this is that project.
“Yandhi,” West’s ninth solo album, was scheduled for a Sept. 29, 2018, release. West delayed it until November 2018, and went to Africa for inspiration. It was delayed again and it wasn’t clear when it was coming, Consequence of Sound reported.
“It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi. After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding,” West tweeted on Nov. 12.
Videos of Kanye West leading choral versions of his songs have been circulating on social media. Kim Kardashian West is calling the gospel style remakes “Sunday Service.” The videos, as shared by Kim Kardashian West associate Tracy Nguyen Romulus, sound like Kanye West songs rearranged with a church choir and live musicians. Music artists Kid Cudi, 070 Shake, and Tony Williams are also present, according to Consequence of Sound. It is not clear if the videos are hinting at a bigger project.

The West Family Expands
Two of Kanye and Kim Kardashian West’s children could also be seen at the choral remix services. People revealed this month that the Wests are expecting their fourth child. Their youngest child, daughter Chicago, turns 1-year-old this month. Saint is 3-years-old, and North is 5-years-old.
A source told People that Kardashian West will soon hold a baby shower, and that dad Kanye won’t be letting the baby wear hand-me-downs, but will purchase an entirely new wardrobe of top-of-the-line baby clothing. The source said the family donates leftover used clothing to charity.
For the fourth child, just like the third, the Wests will use a surrogate. Kim said that she can’t see having more than four children.
“I don’t think I could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin,” she told People. “And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids.”
West is now reportedly recording at the $14 million Miami Beach condo he recently bought and presented to his wife on Christmas, according to TMZ. It should have enough room to fit a recording studio and all the artists Kanye is working with. The condo is 4,700 square feet with four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and a gigantic terrace.
The condo is nicknamed Billionaire Beach Bunker due to housing an abundance of tenants who have met monetary success with hedge funds and land development. Kanye reportedly discovered the condo while looking around during Art Basel events.
