Former President Donald Trump met with Polish President Andrzej Duda Wednesday at Trump Tower in New York City. This is the latest meeting the former president has had with foreign leaders.

The Trump campaign described the two men as “great friends.” The pair discussed a proposal by Mr. Duda that NATO countries spend a minimum of three percent of their GDP on defense.

NTD spoke to foreign policy expert and former U.S. government official Mary Beth Long, who said that Mr. Duda “wants to see unequivocal support to Ukraine” as U.S. aid to the embattled nation is also critical for Polish security.
