The mayor of a town in Canada has requested for help after stranded seals caused havoc in the town.
Roddickton Mayor, Sheila Fitzgerald told local media that the herd of harp seals have been blocking the driveways of residents too.
Two seals died in a road accident, and at least 20 seals were spotted.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans officers (DFO) have arrived to respond to the influx of seals. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police reminded the general public that it is illegal to disturb marine mammals and it is very dangerous to approach or attempt to capture animals without proper equipment.
