Syrians dealing with injuries from the war are getting help from hospitals in Lebanon.

The war has left many Syrians in need of medical care. The cost is often out of reach. Many hospitals often don’t have the expertise to perform the complex operations sometimes needed. The International Committee of the Red Cross is offering help. They are providing the funds for the type of hospitals needed, allowing Syrians to come to Lebanon.

Similar programs are offering help to victims from Yemen, Iraq, and those inside of Lebanon.

1.9 million Syrians have been wounded in the ongoing conflict.
