Texas Rep. Recruiting NYPD Officers–And Some Are Likely to Go: Retired Detective

“Escape from New York!” exclaims Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-Texas). She’s asking NYPD officers to consider relocating to the north of Texas to take advantage of better conditions. She put an ad in the New York Post recently telling officers that they are not being supported by radical-left politicians, and encouraging them to join police forces in Texas to enjoy low taxes, professional growth, and citizens who back the blue.
