Trump ‘Hush Money’ Trial: Establishing Motive for any Coverup a ‘Tough Slope for Prosecutors to Summit’: Analyst

With day 12 of former President Donald Trump’s business records trial wrapping up with testimony from Trump Organization employees, questions are arising as to whether the prosecution has been able to establish a motive for any coverup surrounding the alleged falsification of records. Zack Smith, a former federal prosecutor and a senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation, says proving such a motive will be a “tough slope for the prosecutors to summit.”
