Former President Donald Trump took a few moments to criticize what he termed the “rampant” inflation experienced since President Joe Biden took office before Tuesday’s court proceedings in New York City.
Before reiterating his innocence of the charges related to mishandled campaign funds, President Trump told reporters that he believes that “Biden has no control over what’s happening” with inflation, before insisting that “we’ll get it fixed.”
The two presidents are scheduled to have their first debate of this election season on June 27.
